Sharmila Nicolett

Sharmila is a Professional Golfer. She was the youngest Indian to qualify for the Ladies European Tour. She has played with the legendary Tiger Woods. Sharmila did the IGCSE and NIOS at BIS. Classes and assessments were conducted to accommodate her golf schedule.

Raechel won Bronze at the 7th Sub-Junior Women National Boxing Championships at Kolkata.

Raechel Grace Lobo

Raechel is a National Level Boxer. She won Bronze at the 7th Sub-Junior Women National Boxing Championships at Kolkata. She did the A Levels at BIS and went on to study at IE Business School in Spain and University of Toronto for her Masters.

Sanjna Srikanth

Diagnosed with Autism and received individualized education at BIS. She Has several art exhibitions to her credit, the proceeds of which have been donated to various charities that she supports. Sanjana was awarded the Diana Award in 2014, while she was a student in High School still at BIS. She was the torchbearer of the Rio Paralympics in 2016 and two of her paintings were used as a backdrop for the India Inclusion Summit, Davos in November 2014.

Sanjna has been recognized as an Inspiring Role Model for the Community by The Diana Award UK, established in memory of Princess Diana. This organization is a living legacy to Diana, the Princess of Wales’ belief that young people have the power to change the world for the better.Since 1999, the Diana Award has recognized over 40,000 inspirational and socially active young people.

The award committee has appreciated her immense talent in fine art uniquely to raise money for the local charities through her solo art exhibitions and auctions since 2012. The youngster has been praised not only for overcoming negative stereo- types but also inspiring her peers to be their best.

The distinguished Diana award assessment panel’s note mentioned that it was delighted to see the “WOW factor!” in Sanjna’s nomination. This award is signed by Mr. David Cameron, British PM.

Nikhila was a finalist in the Femina Miss India contest in 2014.

Nikhila Nandagopal

Nikhila took the IBDP while at BIS. Her predicted score was 42. She competed in the Miss Femina Miss India contest and was a finalist in the competition in 2014.

“The competition to win this title was exhausting and I certainly didn’t expect it. My favorite task was solving the math.”

Fouad Mirza

Graduated from BIS in 2010. His Equestrian schedule was accommodated in his BIS schedule. Fouad won a double silver in Equestrianism in the Asian Games in 2018. He won the Arjuna Award for Equestrianism in 2019. Fouad participated in the Tokyo Olympics in Equestrianism in 2022.
